LOL. hm. if u ask ppl in education fairs. they will tell u

SAM: If u are not the hardwoking type (means u are not a bookworm) , choose this. because u are going to have 50% internal assessment (courseworks and tests) and 50% external assessment ( final exam). So u don have to stress urself studying like a nerd for finals like A-lvls because A-lvls is 100% external. But, SAM is very HECTIC. u have no time to relax u wanna get very good TER.

A-lvls
: If u love to face the book every second, choose this. It's more relax but u have test ongoing for the whole 1 and half years. This is to maintain ur understandings. Courseworks which u are going to do in A-lvls will not be counted in ur final results as ur results will only be based on ur FINAL EXAm results.

Choose urself. LOL

camelia's analysis is very true
SAM got assignments which will contribute marks to the final total
so that you don't totally 100% rely on final exam to get ur marks
but you will have to study consistently and do the assessments in order to secure high marks in SAM

芳兒~~, there's not only these 2 options.
we have Diploma, Foundation, STPM (Form 6), American Degree Transfer Program, Canadian Pre-U, etc

all also have their pros and cons

diploma - for students who are weaker in academics or just wanna pass exam easily

foundation - shortcut to what you wanna study (1 year course only, same like SAM) and much easier

STPM - as hard as A levels, hard means good and highly recognised (known as the 3rd toughest exam in the WORLD!)

American Degree Transfer Program - for students who wanna go United States to study

Canadian Pre-U - another similar course compared to SAM, assessment marks differ (i think it's 70% external assessment, 30% exam)
