What about Leo Idol?

Anybody here would like to explain what is Leo Idol and how it's related to Alvin Chong??

Leo Idol is a singing competition intended to discover young and raw talent from across the region. Open to all Leo members of that region. It is an annual event by the LEO club. There are many stages starting from sch, zone, region, district, grand finals. (I'm not sure if there are more or there are lesser stages)
For example my school is under Region 4 and Alvin's sch is under Region 1.
Voting stands certain percentage of the result as well. Alvin is the LEO Idol 2008 Champion and for this year it is Jeremy Goh from Ipoh.
